Our house is in a strategic position for visiting the most beautiful Tuscan cities.

Pisa, the town of the Leaning Tower and much more: Lucca, a city of art circled by its perfect 16th century walls; Livorno with its beautiful promenade; Siena and the fan shaped Piazza del Campo ; Florence the city of the Renaissance. As well as the many small towns packed with history: Calci boasts a monumental Certosa (monastery) with its Museum of Natural History. Vicopisano.

Other day trips can be made to Volterra, town of the Etruscans. San Miniato and San Gimignano, both splendid medieval towns. Torre del Lago with Giacomo Puccini’s villa; the marble quarries of Carrara and so much else. To make the children happy you can visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, the water park in Tirrenia and the prehistoric park at Peccioli.
